Way to go Techie Superstar
Aaliyah Villafuerte is the 2020 salutatorian at Diamond Technology Institute. Although Aaliyah came to Diamond Tech her junior year, she did not hesitate to become an involved White Tiger. She is an avid supporter of her school and community. She has been a part of student leadership, organizing school-wide events, assisting with recruitment and starting our first beach volleyball team. Aaliyah has also volunteered in her community for Kids Day and the Pregnant Mare Rescue, all while holding down a part-time job.
Aaliyah has excelled in her education, particularly in Business and Finance where she has been able to innovate and learned how to “pitch like a boss”, which she says will help her in her future career. Aaliyah will be attending UC East Bay where she plans to study Human Development and pursue a career as a Recreational Therapist. CONGRATULATIONS AALIYAH!
