Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Students,
I am thrilled and honored to be principal of Diamond Technology Institute. I truly believe that our school is a shining gem in the Pajaro Valley Unified School District. We have an incredible faculty and staff that make it their top priority to deliver the most up-to-date career technical education available.
We offer an engaging high school curriculum which includes Business and Finance, Arts and Entertainment, and Industrial Technology. Students are able to explore these career pathways and gain a better understanding of how these skills can be used in real world applications. Students also learn to apply these skills and concepts through the core subjects of math, English, science and social studies all while earning their high school diploma.
Whether you already attend Diamond Tech or are exploring enrollment, I commend you for your consideration of our program. Our commitment to character development combined with our vigorous academic program continues to prepare students for success in the 21st century world.

Background
Marci Keller has been in the education field since 1996 and has worked in the Pajaro Valley Unified School District for the last seventeen years. Ms. Keller received her Bachelor’s Degree and teaching credential from Fresno State University and her Masters in Educational Leadership from San Jose State University in 2013. She was an English teacher at Watsonville High School for sixteen years and then an Assistant Principal of extended learning at Edward A. Hall Middle School prior to embarking as principal of Academic Vocational Charter Institute.
Ms. Keller met her husband, Sean, in 1998 and has been happily married since 2000. They currently are raising two young boys. While at Watsonville High School, Ms. Keller taught theatre, speech and debate, and was the Engineering and Technology Academy lead. Her passion for the arts as well as science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education is equally matched.
While enjoying being principal of Diamond Technology Institute, Ms. Keller also loves spending time with her family, traveling and experiencing as much from life as possible. Ms. Keller states, “I absolutely love living in the Monterey Bay! Diamond Tech is an incredible school where the students, staff and parents team up to do what’s best for students. I am so excited to call this school my home.”

Estoy muy emocionada y honrada de haber sido elegida la directora de Diamond Technology Institute. Creo verdaderamente que Diamond Tech es una gema brillante en el Distrito Escolar Unificado del Valle de Pájaro. Tenemos una facultad y personal docente increíble que hacen que la prioridad principal sea brindarles a los alumnos la educación técnica más actualizada disponible.
Ofrecemos un atractivo currículo de escuela secundaria que incluye Negocios y Financias, Arte y Espectáculos, y Tecnología Industrial. Los alumnos podrán explorar esos caminos de carreras y obtener una mejor comprensión de cómo estas habilidades se pueden usar en aplicaciones del mundo real. Los alumnos además aprenden cómo aplicar estas habilidades y conceptos por medio de las materias básicas de matemáticas, inglés, ciencia y estudios sociales a la vez que obtienen un diploma de la escuela secundaria.

Antecedentes: Marci Keller ha estado en la rama de educación desde 1996 y ha trabajado en el Distrito Escolar Unificado del Valle de Pájaro por los últimos diecisiete años. La Sra. Keller recibió su Grado Bachillerato y credencial de maestra de la Universidad Estatal de Fresno y su Maestría en Liderazgo Educativo de la Universidad Estatal de San José en 2013. Fue maestra de inglés en la Escuela Secundaria Watsonville por dieciséis años y luego sub-directora de aprendizaje extendido en la Escuela Intermediaria Edward A. Hall previo a embarcarse como directora del Instituto Diamond Tech.
La Sra. Keller conoció a su esposo, Sean, en 1998 y ha estado felizmente casada desde el año 2000. Actualmente están criando dos niños varones. Mientras que estaba en la Escuela Secundaria Watsonville, La Sra. Keller enseñó teatro, oratoria y debate, y fue líder de la Academia de Ingeniería y Tecnología. Su pasión por la educación de las artes así como la ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería y matemáticas (STEM) esta equitativamente igualada.
Mientras que disfruta ser la directora de Diamond Technology Institute, la Sra. Keller además le encanta pasar tiempo con su familia, viajar y tanta experiencia de la vida como le sea posible. La Sra. Keller dice, “¡Me encanta vivir en la Bahía de Monterey! Diamond Tech es una escuela increíble donde los alumnos, personal docente y padres se unen para hacer lo que es mejor para los alumnos. Estoy tan emocionada de llamar a esta escuela mi hogar.”
